I'm sure you guys missed me :) Anyway I got back from the Neurologist today and he diagn'ed me with Cluster Headaches. So anyway we talked for about a hour and this is what I came home with:
Topamax (this is my preventative drug)
Imitrex Nasal Spray (I decided to do this over the shots because that kind of freaks me out)
Maxalt (10mg)
The Maxalt and Imitrex are to be taken when I have a attack. I am told only to take the Maxalt for the really bad ones.
Anyway he originally wanted to put me on Lithium...but I want to try something else because Lithium just dosen't sound good to me. If thie Topamax does nothing then he said he will give me the Lithium. So It sux to know that I have clusters...but Im glad this board is here.
Quick question: has anyone in here had experience with any of these drugs...please post your opinions...I am curious
