What do you mean by "alternating day therapy" with Prednisone? Do you take it continually year 'round? This is not what I know of as how to use it. Usually, one starts with, say for just an example, 3 tablets per day for 4 days, then 2 tablets for 2 days and one for 2 days and then none. It's a med that must be tapered down.
