watching Johnny Carson or a movie. The moon landing hadn't happened yet and the Mets hadn't won anything either.

It hit very hard and fast, I went outside, ran around, came back in and paced and paced for about 20 minutes. My headaches started nasty. No buildup. The first one was as bad as the last. My neurologist (I see one all the time for my seizures) wasn't all that convinced these were as painful as I said. I thought I was having a stroke or had a tumor, of course. As they were infrequent then, I had no idea what was to come. They hit me several times a year in the Spring and Fall usually, but not exclusively. They lasted about 3-4 weeks. In 1972, I found Dr. Wright, who knew exactly what I had, did no tests and had a small pamphlet on his desk with a drawing of a clusterhead with a runny nose, swollen eye and sweaty brow, if I remember. He said not worry about these being dangerous, prescibed Cafergot, and showed me the circulatory technique in about 5 minutes. The Cafergot was useless for me, but at least when awake, I had very good luck handling them. They would vary in duration from 15 to 40 minutes, but mostly about 20. The technique, when it worked, really worked. A year or so later I got Inderal. For me it would work within a week. I know Ueli thinks this is garbage though. All I know is they thought it may help and I believe it did.

Sorry for the tome but I got carried away.

Then I found you whiners and my life has been hell ever since.
