just before i would get hit... my dog would get very nervous & jittery & sit right at my feet. it was as if he knew what was coming & was tryin to protect me from it...and through a h/a he would never leave my side...when I sit & rock..he sits right next to me..when I pace...so does he...must be one of those senses things.. like how they know a storm is coming or something... good point Margi!
