Hi,
Sliding in to another cycle here and wanted to try another preventative med (than the Sansert I've used in the past). I don't have easy access to a neuro under my insurance. Saw my GP on Monday who has prescribed Sansert in past years. Hate the groggy feeling of that drug. Saw on the posts how the CHers here have had luck with Verap and wanted to give it a try. The GP was not much help and didn't think Verap would be a benefit (he talked to me as if I was a migrainer, grrr). He gave me a prescrip for 180mg tabs. He also gave me some Zomig samples (2.5 & 5mg) to try, which have kicked at least one CH down. Question, since I am lacking a doc with CH experince at present, what would be a safe course to try with Verap? I took 2 yesterday (first day) about 4 hrs apart and felt jittery by the night with (I think) a shadow late at night. Right now, going to stick to one tab a day and see what happens. Not sure if the bad CH have started (didn't really want to find out either!) Thanks for reading.
