Thank you! I not only forgot how bad these things can be, but I forgot how wonderful you all can be too! I remember now. I remember this was my one piece of sanity and hope. Hope that it would end, cuz in the middle, in the worst you forget that they do go away. And for all the Cronic's out there, you hold an extra special place in my prayers.
When Greg got up lastnight, sometime around 1:30 am we put the sheepskin he had gotten me for the hospital bed and wheelchair on the floor in front of the couch. A bunch of pillows behind him on the seat of the couch and in a sitting position he got a whole three hours. When he woke to number (who the hell knows anymore) attack of the day, he was heading into it really fast. I could tell by the look of him and the way he was rocking that it was close to the puking stage which is really, really bad. I went into the kitchen to get the ice packs and on the way back my forearm crutch caught the leg of one of the dinningroom chairs. I went down pretty hard. Cuz they are kinda attached to the forearm and don't come off easily, I bruised my right arm really bad and ... well it hurt like hell. Anyway the moment I went down Greg jumped to his feet and flew to me. He picked me up and put me on the couch, grabbed the ice packs and put them on me and started checking my poor decrepid bod for damage. That's when I noticed... the Cluster was gone! He hadn't even realized it! That happened once before when the kids were little and Candace got hurt in the middle of a CH and Greg flew to her, same thing, instant end to it.
SOOOO I have decided that heaving myself off the roof or something of that nature is in order for each attack!!! LOL
So far today, since about 3:30am or 4:00am he has been okay. Only shadows, BUT he is coming home checking on me every 15 minutes now instead of 1/2 an hour! OY!
Thanks to all who responded and sent emails! You are my life lines right now. I print off many of the responses for Greg and he too gets allot of comfort from you all.
