but I can relate. I'm 42 years old, had my first attack at 25, then nothing for 11 years, then again in 1995, 1997 and now. This latest one started in November and is still going. I just had my first neuro appt. last week. Now I'm on pred, elavil and he's given me imitrex to abort the pain if I need it.

This attack has also been different then my previous ones. Last ones were always, always, always at 7:30 p.m. Could last 30 minutes or 2 hours. Never knew. This attack started slow. Shadows for a few weeks. Then BOOM. Each attack was at 10:00 p.m. and I would have then alternate nights or every night. I never knew. Just lately they started coming at 2am and 6am as well with the 6am being the kicker. Right now I'm PF thanks to the neuro. But yes, also confused. If you keep reading the posts, you'll see you're attacks have alot in common with others. It appears that these ch's come and go at will and may never be the same twice. What works for one will not work for the other. Trial and error. Keep up your spirits. Others are going what you're going through. I am new to this board and the people here have been great and very supportive. Give them a try. Good Luck.
