Very nice gentleman. We had a long talk. We now have Bob hooked up with my kids, Margi and I for support. I will call again soon to speak to his Mom to make sure that she has some support. Mike (bob's Dad) has run the gambit like all of you with CH and seen all the doctors, done all the test and taken all the meds. He has tried the water treatment; but much like Greg, when you have the propensity to vomit during the attacks the water treatment only serves to make you vomit in larger quantities. He is now taking Imitex pills 3 - 4 a day that seem to work some what for him. But he is concerned about what they are doing to him and that he is heading into the peek of his cycle.
Mike is willing to try the "tea". I want to make certain that the information I gave him lastnight is correct. Pinky - Flash - anyone that knows this for certain, I told him that it does not show up in random drug testing and that it is out of your system within 6 -8 hours. (It is the best that I could remember from all the info. that I got when Greg tried them the first time two years ago.) Can anyone confirm this for us?
Now comes the big question. Greg and I do not have any "tea" left. Matter of fact we are having a hell of time getting some but are still working hard at it. In the mean time thanks to the cycle being so very different I am hoping that we have enough time to grow some and I am going to start that again. But for now we need to help this guy and his family get some.
If there is anyone out there that can help them find a good source or send them some please let me know via email. This guy is desperate, as we all have been, but he is more than willing to give this a shot once I explained to him that he didn't have to keep on taking them everyday for the rest of his life.
Come on family, lets pool our resources and help these guys out. PLEASE, on behalf of a very nice family that is scared and feeling alone, anyone?
