I sent some more detailed information to Bob on this subject last night.

Standard drug tests do not look for either LSD or psilocybin. The use of these drugs is so infrequent compared to weed, speed, downers, smack and coke that it makes no sense whatever to spend huge bucks on the more sensitive and vastly more expensive tests unless there is a very good reason to suspect the subject may be using them. No company will spend the money on these test otherwise -- it just doesn't make sense.

And even the test geared specifically towards the psychedelics won't detect a thing if administered any later than about 16 to 18 hours after ingestion. The substances involved are fragile, short-lived water-soluble molecules that break down quite rapidly. Besides, the amount of the average dose is so extremely small (an LSD dose is measured in MILLIONTHS of a gram) that even under ideal conditions the test will sometimes show a negative.

Bottom line is that it is a non-issue.
