Well, I've used the Imigram(Imitrex) nasal spray for the last 48 hrs and it has been very effective as in huge reduction in pain within 10 mins Thank God. Attacks usually lasted from a half hour to 2 hrs. I'd rather have the jabs but the doc seems reluctant to prescribe them.
I understand the point about swallowing have of it (lol)
