There is no way I could stand to wear my glasses during an attack.
Also, back in '85 I was wearing a retainer to straighten my upper teeth. Not only did I have to remove it during an attack I had to stop wearing it all together until the cycle was over. The force the retainer put on the teeth seemed to be a trigger.
