Wondered if anyone who has had sucess with sansert has had to increase their dosage for effectiveness or if anyone has had suceess once and then the effectiveness wear off.
It used to be fantastic for me, even aborted an attack within the hour, but havent had any prescribed for about 4 years. I recently started back a 2mg a day and after two days have only noticed a little relief. Could it be it may take longer to build up to effectiveness or that I may need more now that I've become chronic? Or is it possible that my receptor sites have become immune? Please tell me I'm fretting too soon...
Also, I am confused about the subject of photosensitivity that came up recently on the board. I definitely have photophobia in the affected eye, but have been diagnosed by a neurologist as chronic daily cluster type headache. Does no other CH sufferers have photophobia?
I've tried to find a web site that explains the biological reason that sunlight causes more pain in affected eye but so far have found none. I could understand if the pupil were dilated, but mine doesn't appear different than the unaffected eye.
Sorry for the long post, but appreciate any information. I have a neuro appointment next week and want to know as much as I can.
Thanks,
Medlengough
