hitting the top of the monitor, to see if it changes back to white? Or could it be, it just needs washing? ;-) I had problems with my old monitor, where the screen kept turning pink on me. Finally, after hitting the top with my fist, it wouldn't change back to white anymore. So I got me a new one...
