If you think what you have may not be clusters

Then

I would say they are probably not clusters.

I first read about clusters in 1977. Saw an article that described what I had to a tee. I had been clustering for about 7 years, as a once a year episodic, when I saw this article and I have never had any doubts. I never needed a doctor or anyone else to to confirm this.

Clusters – excruciating pain behind one eye accompanied by a red, droopy eye , a runny or stuffed nose and extreme restlessness. They come in cycles that last several weeks/months and disappear completely for months or years. Individual attacks
come on quickly and can last 1 to 4 hours. Alcohol consumed in a cycle will very often bring on an immediate attack. Most attacks begin during deep, REM sleep but can also occur at any time of the day.

I think there are an awful lot of folks who come here and may even hang around who do not have clusters. This is fine with me but I think I will just remind them from time to time :-)
