I have tried the shroom treatment myself, however not as successfully as you. They will stop mild attacks, up to a 6 (perhaps I need to up the dose), but they have not stopped the cycle. My usual dose is 100mg of dried shroom. That may seem low, but my first time I tripped my little head off after eating one large fresh one, which I can only estimate to have been equal to about 1gm dried. Anyway, they seem to be at least as effective as oral imitrex.
