(with my M-word h/a) it's exactly as you describe, Ave - can still see it even with my eyes shut, but the way I would explain it is like sun spots or camera flash blindness that lasts through the early stages of the attack. Once the vision and facial numbness clears, that's when the pain and nausea hit and I know I've got to get into the dark, fast.But I've never heard Mike talk about getting any vision disturbance (however we describe it) with his clusters though. I guess everyone is different.
