I have not had this trouble. I am using a Macintosh & Netscape 4.61 and it seems to work fine. I have a very fast Mac (300 MHz with Ultra-Wide SCSI hard drive), roughly equivalent to a 450 MHz Wintel system with a very fast hard drive) but I'm only using an ordinary modem & phone line, not a cable modem or ISDN or DSL. The message board always opens 2 windows nowadays, but it is all working fine. I have Microsoft Internet Explorer but I don't use it, so I can't say if it works any differently.
