Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is doing ok. I just went through another humiliating and excruciating day at work. Did not make it past 12:30. Fortunately only my good friend and co-worker was there to witness it. Very Emberassing. It just eased up some (just drove home after sitting in my car outside the office for about an hour (Could not drive, etc.). I guess I really need some help... I have looked at much of the info posted but I am not thinking to straight and I do not know enough about these medications to ask for the right one... I have stated on hthis board that I do not like pills and the like. But, I have been getting hit especially hard lately and I am feeling like I cannot take it anymore. I know I can, but I've got to hold onto my job. I probably have just one shot at this so...
Ok, here's what I am asking for help with...
If anyone has any suggestions on medications after the following, please post 'em pronto because the beast has me begging. I am going to call up my PCP (Still have a few days left of ins.) and beg him to call me in a prescription before I lose my mind/job. I have a few hours before his offic closes...
History:
App. 10 year history of episodic CH's once every 1 to 2 years for app. 1 1/2 months avg. 4-6 times daily (from mild to very very bad especially at night. sometimes in the day to).
Considerations:
- DX'd with Panic Attacks (Is Immatrex out?) with chest pains, etc.
- Hopefully won't need the meds except for another couple of weeks (Episodic).
- Must be able to continue working. Somehow.
- Don't care what it is just need some kind of bandage to get through...
Already Taking:
- Hydrocodone/APAP 5/500 mg tabs (Not much help at all)
- Caffiene/APAP/Butalbital (? mg) (Help slightly but only with the mild ones)
OK, that's about it. If anyone has any suggestions. I would greatly appreciate them. Please. Sorry to beg but that bitch (Beast) is killing me it seems...
