Have you read the front door to this site? Probably not.

don't assume to know anything about me Don.  When I joined here I came for support and information for clusters since that is what I was diagnosed with.  I realize everyone will not get along but there is no need to be mean and hateful about it.  I have my opinion, you have yours.

why don't you show me?  it seems to me everytime someone posts a question there is never a 100% yes response - are we all smokers, no.  do we all get nauseous and vomit when getting a cluster, no.  does alcohol trigger for everyone, no.  does o2 work for everyone, no.  do you want me to continue?  That was the point I was trying to make, not start a shit storm.

Nothing you listed are symptoms. They are triggers and responses.

Don, I am not saying you are not wise on this topic.  You are and I have seen you give a lot of good advice, but again, what 2 people are the same with every symptom?  So far I have not read 1 thing that says this will happen if you have cluster headaches.  give me an example of one thing that every single cluster sufferer has.  Educate me please because so far I haven't found anything other than a completely unbearable pain.  Some people don't have ear pain when they have a cluster, my eardrum feels like it is rupturing when the cluster is ending, like the beast is taking his exit through my eardrum.  My point is there are so many differences in all of us.  I'm not trying to argue with you here really, just help me understand why the animosity.  And I hate to tell you that I am not going anywhere even when this cycle ends so don't put me with the ones that have come for support when in cycle and leave when it is over.

Look up the term unilateral. It has nothing to do with switching sides.

Who do you mean don? No one is questioning your thoughts about whether he has CH or migraine. I think that what is being talked about here (at least by me) is  sarcasm (meeeegraines) that feels ostracizing to someone who comes here looking for help. I think it's perfectly fine to offer an opinion on someones symptoms, even though we're not drs, we have valuable input. I think it kind of rude to make someone feel like they don't belong here (even if they don't). Like it or not, I think family members should call each other on bratty behavior.

I am asking for everyone to quit now.  I don't regret posting what I did because that is how I feel but I don't want a big argument starting here because of it.  I have sent Don a PM and hope to resolve some of this privately.

I won't apologize for my opinion but please don't continue on with this.

My feeling is that everymost clusterheads especially the veterans have always lived with the old saying I get meegraines too routine and have a internal bell that goes off when someone comes here and has these. Do they suffer, yes, do we suffer more, I say definately, no comparison. So that being said, we feel bad yes, but there are places they can go, or they can stay and we can all have tea together, but just don't bitch if you have a meegraine and feel like throwing up, if my heads exploding because I might bite you in the arse Grin

By the way girls, Don rules the roost next to the king, the pecking order was established years ago, and so be it Grin

You guys scare me a little.

Quite frankly, I'm not sure I want to belong to a board family that has a "King".  It only takes a couple sentences to say, "Doesn't sound like Clusters.  Try going ..... "  It's not only nicer, it also doesn't make fun.

This thread makes me very, very sad ......

I "knew" a girl that got migraines.  Didn't look all that appealing to me either -- puffy face bloodshot eyes. wimpering, barfing...  Lasted a day or more.  Hell, I was way ahead of her.  I could get slammed w/ 3 or 4 before she could get past 1.

We both had miserable HAs.  Couldn't seem to get it together either.  Before I found satisfactory meds and between the "Sorry, I have a HA" comebacks, it was all over.

Gotta love it when someone has been here for a long time and thinks they own the place.
Lot of replies on this one.  Sounds like I do have migraines or shall I say Meeegraines.   Which is good to know.   I have just been going by what a neuroligist told me after I gave him my symptoms.  He told me I had cluster headaches.   That was about 5 years ago.
So at least I did learn something by posting here.   I didn't know migraines had the same type of clustering of symptoms on one side of the head.
I'll go find a migraine site now.    When I find one I'm gonna list all my symptoms but I'm gonna tell them all the traits of a cluster.   Maybe they'll tell me I have  cluster envy.   And give me a link to here.   Grin
