Hi Jimee, I get both CH and Migraines (not fuck**g Meeegraines!!!! - for the morons here who decry migraine sufferers)

MyCH come on rapidly with one watering nostril, one watering eye and intense pain in the temple/behind the one eye. I occasionally vomit when it is extemely intense pain (maybe once or twice in an 8 week cycle) and my HA last 2-4 hours (without imitrex). I get them daily at around 2am, 7am, 11am, 7pm. No pain in the neck, no blocked nostril (as you reported with your HA)

Migraines I also get in "clusters" at around the same time as the CH. They tend to be spaced at 5-7 days apart, and last for maybe 4-48 hours at a time. The pain is not as intense as CH but they are debilitating as it is so relentless. The pain is more central or down the neck as well as the one side of the temple (always on my right as per the CH).

I also think you HA may be migraine, but...

Both types of HA respond equally well to Imitrex injections thankfully (total relief inside 10 minutes), and I have managed them with this since 1995. Prior to that my life was hell during the cycles. Now it is manageable.

I now use my detox diet to rapidly break the HA cycle. It has worked well my last 3 cycles.

Once a King always a King but once a knight (SP?) is enough!
I do have one question about Jonny being King.. and I hope its not treason BUT... in the Royal Entourage there is supposed to be a "FOOT" man isn't there? Well if the writing on the toilet wall is true then Jonny is well and truly a "FOOT"man.. but he is King too.. I'm confused!! Wink

That Brit sense of smut does it everytime - flies right over the top of most heads.  Perhaps it took another female to figure out where you were going with that one.  Remember, they are after all, mere men! Grin, even the most Kingly of them!  Good thing they're cute!

This cycle is actually the first time that i threw up, but this cycle has been screwy from the start....God I wish it would end.  I run the same way when it starts it wakes me from a dead sleep about every other day for a while then everyday then every other day until the final God thank  you its over for another year, I too feel so fortunate after reading all the pain everyone has here, I only get them once a day and not all the time, I don't know how u cope.  I guess for me just knowing they will stop coming soon is what keeps me from blowing my brains out....I hate these dam it things....pain free blessings for all.....Marie

TAKEN FROM THE HOME PAGE AS YOU ENTER THIS SITE.

This site is devoted completely and exclusively to those that suffer from, and to the supporters of those who suffer from Cluster Headaches!

There are a few other sites out there dealing with Cluster Headaches, but no real place to "interact" with other Cluster sufferers.  There are a few message boards where you can read posts dealing with Cluster Headaches, but sorting through all the migraine, tension, and other headache posts to find the few about Clusters is enough to bring on a headache!

Never again will you have to search, hour upon hour, for information on Cluster Headaches!  You now have a place to "hang out" that you can call our very own.  You now have a place to "vent" when you wake up at 3 a.m. with a headache, the oxygen tank is empty, and you're out of Imitrex!

Finally...a place where you can talk to someone about how horrible your headaches are and know that they really do understand your pain.
