What can a friend do

when one of their best friends is suffering repeatedly daily and they can't get their meds refilled because the insurance company won't allow enough Imitrex to get through 2 days...... not an entire month?

I hurt just listening to the pain in her voice, knowing how she suffers.

Are there any possibilities in Canadian meds?  You see commercials, e-mail advertising etc.  How do you find out if you can get refills that way, and how do you know it's good quality?

This person is someone most of us know and love, and she is going through one hell of a cycle right now.

If you can be of any help, please e-mail me.

with hands tied and wallet empty,
I know how your firend feels.

Sometimes just playing some great music,
clearing the day for "dancing"
Meditating, chanting, swearing....

and then resting between hits

is all you can do.

Sending prayers that something will
move a mountain and set her free
from the cycle....

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Have them try zomig, axert, amerge, frova and see if any of them work.  Get your dr to write a script for imitrix ns, injection, pills, zomig ns and pills, axert, or whatever works and take them accordingly.

Hey, if I ever said anything bad about a couple of you people (and you know who you are) I take it back (I'm a woman I can do that - it's in the rule book).  I'm not saying that I won't say bad things about you in the future, but right now you're pretty special to me...

Ok, enough of that....

I love you guys...no words can ever express this...Between getting hit and taking care of my three year old grandson, I wanted to say THanks from the bottom of my heart..I had no idea how I was going to make it thru this hell once again...I am out of work today thanks to the beast...had a friend come over and watch the little one so I could finally get a few hours of rest.  I had some pf time on and off in the last few years and able to enjoy life...but the beast is back in full form now.
Mr. Happy, if you are reading, i need to talk to you about a regulator someone mentioned to me ....
Again, Thanks to all my friends here that reached out to me and showed me that "clusterbuds ARE forever!".
Know I am here for any of you...all you have to do is email or call. I may have become a MOM again but I will always have time to talk or help one of my clusterbuds out!  smiles, nancyc  PS Donna, love ya!  PSS. Any suggestions on what I can do to put the fire under my Doctor to contact the Insurance company so they will up my Imitrex shots? Any help on this would be appreciated.
