Let it Snow, Let it Snow, NO-Make it Stop

It was nice to see the first dusting of snow a few weeks ago.

It was great when it snowed a few inches just prior to the hunting season.  (Unfortunately it melted before the season opened).

The few inches of snow during the first week of the season was a little crunchy but great for determining deer movement.  I had to plow my way too long driveway (funny I never realize how long this driveway is until winter).

The 4 of so inches of snow that fell duing the second week of the season was quiet powder which quieted movement in the woods - but again the driveway thing popped up.

The 5 inches of snow that fell yesterday, last night and this morning arrived after deer season but really created a beautiful white blanket on the ground and in the trees.  Great to look at - but man the driveway thing keeps screwing things up.  And the temps. haven't gone above freezing for weeks so this snow isn't going anywhere.

They are predicting a major snow storm for the area Wednesday night which is great because I like having snow for Christmas.  I won't like getting the tractor/plow out again but I'll deal with this through  Christmas.

However after Christmas I'm refusing to accept any more of this.  If I ask for NO-MORE-SNOW after Christmas do ya' think Santa will deliver?

3"-8" here tomorrow Shocked  I'm trekking to the grocery store today for vittles to see us through.  There is only me, myself and I to do the snow removal.  The good news is there will be enough snow down to use my snowshoes. Huh

Please try out your snowblower here. We have about 24 inches of the stuff and it was 3 degrees (minus 16) this morning. But then we Upstate aren't "teased." LOL
