My first cycles seemed it made no difference whether I had a drink or not, but the last cycle - absolutely not. So, I stick to ice water with a lovely slice of lime in it, iced teas, and coffee (I can't stand soft drinks). Guess what - there was a great benefit from being on the wagon - I lost over 10 lbs during that cycle Hell of a way to lose weight, and I've gained it all back and probably more since Sandy

I've never been much of a drinker. But ch made me absolutist pretty much. My chronic days made me avoid alcohol and since I've been PF I didn't want to risk it. I've had a drink twice since April 05 and on both occasions I had shadows immediately. So it's a no- no for me. Sanna

"will i ever be able to have a drink again??" -if I said the answer was NO, how would you feel. If alcohol is a trigger for you, ask yourself which is more important to you - avoiding a CH attack or a drink. Maybe I missed the question?? Doug

| I agree Doug. If you even THINK you might get hit after a drink.... to me it's a NO BRAINER!
