Ok... sounds like my reason for posting is not clear.

I am posting to share information with you, build your faith to overcome CH through the power of God's word and my personal testimony.

You may want to know of meds that I found to help.
I"ll gladly share my experience.

You may want to manage the beast w/o meds at all.
IT CAN BE DONE!!!  I have experienced a 10 level pain with shocking & muscle spasms and taken it down to level 3 pain so I could make it through my daughter's birthday party.
The beast can be controlled w/o meds.
Don't believe it can't!!!!

If you want to be radical and be free of CH pain. You can be.  If you don't believe it is possible then it will not be for u.  Your body can not produce what your mind can not comprehend.

The Spirit of the Lord still heals.

Jesus raised a Dead Girl and healed A Sick Woman based their faith to believe.  He can give permenant relief from CH.

The Bible says......Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed."     Luke 8:50

You like the sound of your own voice?

You've declared a jihad on bandwidth?

You quoted the Bible so, replying in kind

Matthew 24:11
"Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.

Matthew 24:24
"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

2 Peter 2:1
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.

My personal favourite though is

Revelation 19:20
And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.

While having strong faith in a higher power does help many people overcome horrific trials (addiction, violence, sexual abuse) and also provides a nice firm base upon which to build your life and a benchmark for your moral and value growth, this is a personal thing.

I, as a Christian, am complelled to share my faith when the Holy Spirit leads me to.  My Lord has already told me, in the Bible, that in this life we will have troubles.  I believe some people are healed today by God, however, if anyone-even a preacher-slapped me on the forehead and yelled "Be Healed!" I'm afraid I'd have to punch him out.  And if faith alone in Christ alone is enough to guarantee healing, why did St. Paul suffer throughout his life?  God does not always choose to heal our bodies.

He offers peace, acceptance, grace, mercy and love.  And those qualities, my friends, are what we should be emulating.  They are not specific to the Christian faith.

Andi, I am happy for you, that you are in remission.  I too have had remissions of 3 years.  Chronic now for over three years.  I still believe.

What do you have to say to the people here who believe otherwise?   Nevermind. I'm glad your faith has helped you cope. Don't push your beliefs on  others who believe differently.

The tone of these posts sounds familiar...

Andrea, and it is not me that is the fool, or any one of us in this little world of ours

think before you hit POST….  you are posting on CH.com not on GOD.com

I looked into my Bible data base (old testament) cant find any reference to clusterheadaches
nor to god healing it…..  even if I am a believer….

Oh, and as God is: Ps 103:8  The LORD is  merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
and: De 4:31  (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;   ) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee
and Ps 41:4  LORD, be merciful unto me: heal…

and with all the superlatives, I quote, why did God inflict upon us Clusterheadaches,

Or are we all sinners, disserving hell in this world………  ?

or did I miss something?

Sorry kids I should have made it clear in my previous post that I was responding to "darknight" as I am personally insulted by any-one's need to make light of someone elses belief system. The mary poppins thing kind of pissed me off,  and to my knowledge I don't recall any of the wack jobs that the PGR was created to contend with posting here. oh well my bad!

Andy.....you on the other hand do not raise my ire you just remind me some how of a box of rocks Roll Eyes. Perhaps my prayers are being ignored and you have a better connection then me but, I for one would love to see you get off the soapbox and share something useful.

Everyone else on this thread ......... man I have missed you all more then you will ever know and I believe i will be spending more time in touch with y'all in the very near future.

  Peace, love, vibes and prayers......Tim

PGR stand s for Patriot Guard Riders,  Darknight.

It was started a few years back in response to "whack jobs"  from  the Westboro Baptist Church in Whichita, Kansas.  They have a skewed sense of right and wrong and they go to the funerals of fallen soldiers in the U.S. and protest.   They yell and scream and hold placards that say things like..

"THANK GOD FOR DEAD SOLDIERS"

"THANK GOD FOR IEDS"

"GOD HATES FAGS"

So Viet Nam vets, and others who ride motorcycles decided to attend the funerals as a show of respect as well as a protective measure against the crazies.  They form a flag line around the families, blocking them from intruding, and if they get too loud..we start up the bikes drowning out their message of hate.

Here is a wikipedia link but the PGR has it's own website. .   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriot_Guard

I belong to the PGR as does Tanner, and I can tell you it is one of the most awe-inspiring and wonderful thing  I've ever been associated with.  It brings me to tears every single time I go.
