The one where the road curves and goes uphill - on the highway. Seems like there's a light near it. Geezz you know how long its been since I was there?????

If you get there first - make a mark - If I get there first I'll erase it....

Four more days......

ps.  just bring the frybaby (daddy?) and we'll cook 'em up in the room. HOtels have NICE smoke alarms. Cat and Tracey will feel right at home if we start a fire. They're "experienced" fire fighters.....

We can always wait until Sunday to take the jet to Vegas.

Has anyone heard from the BoD yet?

I believe, for the sake of the OUCH expense account, that we should just invade Bob's casa while in Vegas.  Do y'all think he could handle 25 or so Texans in his house?   laugh laugh

See y'all in 5 days but many prior to that.   Wink

Ok, Bob, I get dubs on the bathtub. Been a long time since I slept in one, but I think it will all come back to me. 25 in a one bedroom apt - not bad if we're all friendly......

I'm doing my part to get it to 21.

We can do it....just need to get a little BS going here.

I'll start

My truck decided to have an attitude again today.  New fuel pump last thursday, had it towed in...new fuel pump.  Today didn't want to start, while on the phone with AAA it started and we made it home.  Got my fingers crossed for tomorrow morning.

ok...so sorry about the truck!

here's my dilemma.  MY f**king laptop!

5 times it has dumped all of it's physical memory and given me the blue screen of death just to boot back up and work again, but only for awhile.  After being on for awhile it dumps and gives me the blue screen of death again.

The hard drive rattles alot just before the crash thus i suspect it could be the HD but then I wonder if the darn thing is overheating or something and that is what causes the crash.

Any input?

Analysis

A device driver installed on your system caused the problem, but we cannot determine the precise cause.

Getting Help

Depending on which situation is applicable to you, do one of the following:

If this problem occurred after you installed a new hardware device on your system, the problem might be caused by the driver for the device. If you know the manufacturer of the device, contact the manufacturer's product support service for assistance.
Some software, such as firewall and anti-virus software, also installs drivers. If this problem occurred after you installed new software, the software might have installed a driver that caused the problem. If you know the manufacturer of the software, contact the manufacturer's product support service for assistance.
If you don't know the driver's manufacturer and need help diagnosing and resolving this problem, contact your computer manufacturer's product support service.
Updated drivers might be available on the Microsoft Windows Update Web site. At Windows Update, you can have your computer scanned and, if there are updated drivers available, Windows Update will offer a selection of drivers that you might be able to use. To learn more about updated drivers that might be available, visit Microsoft Windows Update.
For information about Microsoft support options, visit Microsoft Product Support Services.

Have not installed anything new.  Did all windows updates and driver updates and still the same thing is occuring.   Huh Huh

HELP!!

this might get us to page 21 anyway!  Smiley

yep.  i use norton systemworks 2004 and all is up to date, ran virus scan and came out clean.  ran windoctor and it repaired a few broken links but nothing major.  ran discdoctor and it repaired something last night but then I crashed again tonight.

I just put my ear up to the fan and it may be the fan instead of the hard drive that is rattling....we might be onto something here!!!

ya think?

no server software on this puter.  this is win2003 professional and networked to win2000 server.

the mouse has been going haywire also and getting a life of it's own and taking off to the top of the screen and refusing to move.

i've already copied all important info to my server...just cya, in case it doesn't boot back up next time.

the first crash required i boot back up in safe mode.  did that and then it rebooted ok but when i first turned puter back on it said password required for HDD.   Huh
