I am sorry I am late in getting to your question. I am one of the ones that have the unfortunate trigger: an orgasm.
This can be from having sex with someone, or from masterbation (yes, I admit, I DO masterbate!) My very first cluster hit was immediately after an orgasm. Scared my wife, near to death!
I have been a clusterhead for 27 years, and chronic for the last 7 years. When I was episodic, and in cycle, EVERY time I had an orgasm, I would get a hit within ten minutes. Some times I would get hit with, what I call, a sledge hammer hit. That is a hit that goes from no pain to maximum pain within one minute. Just like I got hit with a sledge hammer.
Now that I am chronic, it still effects me the same way. EVERY orgasm is followed by a hit.
At first, this slowed down my sex life. Then I took the position that I am NOT going to let this ruin my sex life. So what I get a hit AFTERWARDS? It sure is fun getting there!! Haha!! Now that I am no longer married, masterbation is the only sex I get. So I keep testing to see if it will still effect me. So far, it always has, but there is still that hope that it won't, so I keep doing the research!! Haha!
Don't let it get you and your sufferer down. Enjoy your sex, as you are meant to. It is just one of life's peculiarities. Don't let it rule your life. The beast can be dealt with. Be thankful that your sufferer does not get hit during the build up. At least you can complete your joy and fun, BEFORE getting hit. ENJOY IT !!

I'm sorry seeing my husbands "HITS" would stop my sex life dead in its tracks.... You are one brave dude... and your wife must be a slave driver to put ya through that... Ree~~ whose glad that doesnt happen here and wont even mention it so that it doesnt start happening...
