OK.. after consulting with several of the top pathologist and oncologist in the country, they have finally named the tumor after 2 weeks. It is very rare and called a Follicular Dendritic Cell Tumor. David started his chemo today and should be getting out of the hospital within the next day or so. We are keeping the faith that the chemo will work. Unfortunately once he is released, we may be on our own to pay for future treatments since he has no insurance. We are praying that medicaid is going to pay, but it's going to be a long wait to find out. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that we appreciate you vibes and prayers.

Bob - I wish you, David, and the rest of your family my prayers and best wishes. This cancer thing sucks!!!!!!! If there is anything that I can do in the way of research please do not hesitate to ask. I have prostate cancer and have met a lot of knowledgable people along the way. People who have all types of cancer. I will check in my network about Follicular Dendritic Cell Tumor and see what I can find out. Good luck.

Bob, I'm so sorry to hear this! I'm saying lots of prayers for David, you, your family, and the medical team trying to get David well. I'm also saying some prayers for the financial situation - the added stress of the financial burden is really not something anybody needs during times like these.. I hope medicaid picks it up...
