Tony,

I haven't personally taken Norvasc, but it is a calcium channel blocker - in the same category as verapamil.  Vasodilating cardiac drugs doesn't mean uncontrolled vasodilation - it really means more like smooth muscle relaxation.  Yes, the vessels do dilate, but the main purpose is to prevent constriction or spasm.  Theoretically, the Norvasc shouldn't cause a problem for CH - but hopefully some others can weigh in who've had personal experience.

Glad everything turned out well!  Sorry you had to go through it!
