Need oxygen prescription in Nashville, TN (Read 1222 times)

Posts: 2	Need oxygen prescription in Nashville, TN Nov 24^th, 2008 at 11:43am My wife suffers from cluster headaches and is unable to locate a neurologist who will write her a prescription for an oxygen tank. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

AJ, I know no one in Nashville... but if you continue to run into roadblocks I'd urge you to consider buying a tank of welder's 02. There are plenty of more knowledgeable people here on the board than I about this who can guide you. I do know that it's the same gas from the same fill tanks. Like many here, I was able to buy a tank and regulator from a welding supply company with no muss or fuss, and it's served me well.

Once you do locate a good local neuro - and I believe there are some links here that might help you, perhaps through the O.U.C.H. website - and if your insurance will cover the medical stuff, by all means go that way. But consider welder's if that avenue is closed.

Ok, I just read on another thread by someone who LIVES in TN that the doctors listed on the OUCH site either don't practice or arn't what you're looking for. She then listed her doctor, whom is below:
