Large Hadron Collider.

Sounds grrreat doesn’t it

Gone a bit quiet, are they still there? Maybe the strangelets have got them or is there a mini black hole where the canteen used to be
Particle collisions to make coffee, wow what a cappuccino. (Personally I prefer Latte)

Particle collisions pose no conceivable threat” Well where have I heard that one before:
Big bang springs to mind!

Yeah do you believe that! The next thing they’ll be telling us we evolved from monkeys, (did you know Darwin stayed at my Aunt Penn’s house, not the one in Cornwall that’s a different tale) bit of a funny bloke always going on about natural selection, I prefer the pick n mix.

All this money and technology to collide particles with no real guarantees, you’d think they could find a cure for…. Habitual toe nail biting.

Any concerns should be posted to the Executive Committee of the Division of Particles & Fields of the American Physical Society.

Save the toe nail you never no where your next meals coming from
I’m going to bed.

They had a little accident and won't be back online until late this year.

Little accident.

Either that or the solar system was obliterated and they haven't told us yet.

The odds are less than 1/50,000 that they'll destroy the planet.  Doesn't that make you feel better now?

Now Geneva’s got the black hole production underway I wonder how long it will be before they out source it to China.
Bulletin!!!

500 scientific jobs go at the Hadron
Conflicting reports on strangelets picketing the facility
Mr Strange E Let said “we knew it was coming and only a matter of time”
“Were the best black hole manufactures in the business”
“What sort a quality are they gonna get there” it’ll only blow up in their faces.
“I’ve worked there for 20 years how am I gonna feed the the little atoms”

Oh yes...

There is nothing to be concerned about.  The last time they fired the puppy up, a few magnets melted, but nothing to worry about.  They are going to replace them and should be firing it up soon enough.  I believe they have the date set for December 21, 2012...
