Ditto that.  Had one attack last cluster, on my hands & knees, entire body dripping sweat, couldn't move, wondering when the ticker would quit.

I'm only 23, I want these to go away before I get old and start:
a) worrying about my heart during a cluster hit
b) start calling my heart my ticker!

I'm happy the US is doing something to reform their healthcare system, its plain that it could be better.

I live in Canada, I'm pretty happy with the way things are run up here!  I might have to wait an extra week to see a doctor for an appointment, but I've always had everything I've need and FREE or CHEAP!

Personally I feel great bodily stress when experiencing an unabated CH attack but am lucky enough to have never felt a side effect from Imitrex.

Then there's the common diminished brain function immediately following an full blown attack - that doesn't seem like a particularly healthy sign!

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.

I'm 59 and it seems mine have stopped.  Guess you only have about 25 years to go.  The past 39 years has been a long haul!

See, you can look forward to your math skills deteriorating along with your ticker.

Just think, most of the old timers on the MB went through many years of CH before triptans were invented or O2 recognized as an ablortive.  There just wasn't much choice but to hurt.

That's a very good point, Bob P.

I'm very thankful for everyone who have suffered before me; through their pain they brought us hope and understanding of clusters.
