Does anyone else hear a fizzy bubbling?
Dec 16th, 2009 at 10:58am

When I am in a cycle, I can occasionally hear a fizzy/bubbling sound eminating from the back of my head/neck. It sounds and feels like the little stream of bubbles that sometimes fizz up the side of a glass of soda.

Does anyone else hear this?

What? I can't hear you. I've got this fizzy/bubbling sound in the back of my head.

Actually, no. But I have heard this type of thing from a few others.

I did a search of the message board, and found that some hear a creaking (like a rusty hinge) from the front of their head...

I know I'll be going into a cycle when I start hearing/feeling it oozing its way up my neck. That's why I call it "the worm".

That's pretty funny "the worm".  I feel it too, but in the sinus cavity.  Strange thing.

I don't know if this is alike at all, probably not, but in CH my ears get as if I had been swimming under water long... With Q-Tips I seem to find more than usual amounts of ear wax... probably more than anyone wanted to know eh?

I don't get the increased wax, but I do feel like I have water in my ear-more when in cycle than not(I've had problems in the past with fluid in my ears).

I don't usually get a precursor to a cycle though....

Well I sure don't know... I get the water in my ear two ways... Swimming underwater for a while, which I do in summer, and when these CH's are around. The effect isn't telling me anything directly, and I don't know if I notice the effect before i get a shadow hard enough to know I just came into season.

What usually tells me my season in coming will be a hard shadow as I am having the first of 2 beers in a day.. My limit on any given day is 3...

Once this happens, that is about 1/2 beer and I take a shadow hit, i stop drinking any beer at all untill I get mad.

Once my temper is up anything goes. I'll dance with the demon so long as it is on my terms. The last beer I had was on Nov 30th and my birthday, and I was looking for trouble.

I got it too, but I know what that brings and so I chose it.

My ways are not for everyone, and the way I see things isn't the way others see. I don't see this CH as something wrong with me, I see it more like some wild bloomin alien has taken a part of me and I friggin want it gone and me back.

Long ago I learned about 02, and use it like a weapon. Thankfully I am not chronic. I feel bad for the those of us who are chronic.

I am not sure i could deal with that alone as I do for my problems.

I don't live near a city and I don't like doctors. That isn't any problem since I don't have funds to afford doctors. The problem is simple.

Once my season starts on any given day there is a mild nagging behind my right eye. I have that all day everyday, and it tells me the season is still on.

I started this BS in Oct, and it should be gone or going now, but there is no sign telling me so.

My ear still does that water thing too, so maybe you are on to something.

As of late I have been using o2 to abort, but the time to take a full blown beating is nearing. Sometimes i allow the beast to win a battle, just to see how bad he can do it. If all it does is a 6 or a 7,  I can take satisfaction that it is getting weak.

I even went to a x-mass concert last night, far from my o2. It was well worth the risk.
