Was on my 6th day pain free was so happy, Had a k4-5 about one hour ago, took my 02 as directed ,no relief at all. Si took my 6 mg imitrex injection , about maybe 5 minutes after injecting it , my arms and legs feel weak , like very relaxed. Does this happen to you ? Is it normal?

my D3 regimen is going great ,i am at the reloading part i have 4 days left at 50 000 ui daily then i am back at the 10 000 daily plus all the other supplements. Thank for your reply.

OK will try  the imitrex at the first sign of a attack, i thought we had to first take the 02 and if no relief then take imitrex, am i wrong?

Thank you Hoppy.. the 02 does not do wonders for me, so will take your advice and abort first with imitrex.

Hi Shadia, that's the way I use it. I try the 02 first but 02 won't work if it's a really bad one so then I turn to my injections. Sometimes I have been 20 minutes into the CH, but the injection never fails.

We are all different and what is best for some of us is not so good for others. You need to find a way that suits you best, by trial and error and then stick to it to get max relief.

Do you have the correct mask because it's vary unusual for 02 not to work. You must have a non - rebreather mask and a flow rate of at least 15 liters per minute. Get either of those wrong and it won't be effective.

Personally I would never part with my 02. It's cut down my use of imitrex injections by 90%.

Potter was only half way being funny, if you can, please post a picture of your oxygen set up, tank, regulator mask etc. Sometimes there's an obvious deficiency we can spot and help you correct! We love a nice 02 set up, thus the term 02 porn!

As you will see your mask has uncovered holes on one side. They all do in case you should fall asleep and the tank runs out, so you can still breath. I've done it several times. It stops you suffocating but also allows ordinary air in.

The best mask you can get is the one you can buy from the store on this site . "CH.com store" - tab on the left of your screen. It has no holes so the 02 stays pure and aborts much quicker, and a bigger bag so you can breathe deeper. It also has no elastic head band so you have to hold it all the time. If you fell asleep you would drop it, so you wouldn't suffocate.

I bought one a few weeks ago and its brilliant, and very reasonably priced. It arrived quickly too all the way to england. Be aware you may have to pay customs charges - I didn't, but I don't know about your country.

What you could do whilst you're waiting is to:

• cut off / remove the elastic band - so if you fall asleep whilst using it and the tank run dries you do not choke / suffocate
• block off the holes in the mask with something, e.g. sellotape or similar

It will help. I just use a disc off a spare mask to block up the holes.But if I use it at night when I am likely to fall asleep I just take one disc off.

The mask sold here has a much better fit around your face and has cushioned edges so much more comfortable to wear. It also has a 3 litre bag instaed of the 1 litre on your mask,which means you can breathe deeper and faster which will lead to a faster abort.  And because it all works faster you will probably find you use a little less 02, which is important if you have to pay for it.

I took the mask off of the tube and just suck the O2 straight from the tube using Batch's hyperventilation technique.  That works the best for me.
