Antibacterial soaps warning
Sep 10th, 2016 at 12:09am

Washing your hands with plain soap and water is enough,
say Australian infectious disease experts, as they advise
consumers to ditch antibacterial soaps. The US Food and
drug administration wants to end the sale of antibacterial
hand and body washing products over concerns long term
use encourages drug resistant bacteria. The Australian
Society for infectious Diseases and Australian College
for Infection Prevention and Control greeted the decision.
The products have antimicrobials including triclosan, which
can affect hormone, Liver and Kidney function.
