Some Good Things to Know About Nutrition

As the old song said, "Little things mean a lot." Check and see if some of these little health tips are just what you've been needing.

Didja know that:

1. Constantly cold hands can mean a magnesium deficiency.

2. Vertical ridges on fingernails point to digestion problems.

3. A folic acid (B9) deficiency can cause hearing loss.

4. Restless legs often come from a mineral deficiency.

5. Poor dream recall can mean a B6 deficiency.

6. White spots on nails usually means a mineral deficiency.

7. A vitamin C deficiency can cause bleeding gums.

8. A vitamin B deficiency can cause anemia.

9. And eating a low protein diet can lead to autoimmune diseases.

10. Your body needs saturated fat to create bile. And your body needs bile for good digestion.

11. Diabetics typically have low thyroid function. Tests may or may not agree.

12. A Vitamin B2 deficiency can cause eye irritation?

13. Your adrenals need plenty of vitamin B5

14. Hypothyroidism requires extra B12

15. Stretch marks can come from a zinc deficiency

16. Cholesterol protects your nerves. In fact, cholesterol is your good buddy.

17. Low magnesium makes your eyes sensitive to light

18 Taking niacinamide (B3) improves diabetic symptoms.

19. Niacinamide fights candida.

20. Statins can cause numb hands/feet. Amongst a long list of other problems.

21. The mineral, selenium, helps your body get rid of mercury. Garlic, does, too.

22. Thyroid problems can look like Alzheimer's. And low thyroid is often misdiagnosed as dementia; the elderly don't even get tested.

23. Soy beats up on your thyroid and can cause autoimmune thyroid disease.

24. A vitamin A deficiency causes thyroid problems.

25. Most canola is GMO. And even organic canola is bad for you. Just say "no."

26. Fluoride is more toxic than lead.

27. Dentists in fluoridated water areas earn more than those elsewhere.

28. A magnesium deficiency interferes with sleep.

29. The FDA last tested sun screen safety in 1978.

30. Taking Tylenol increases blood cancer risk.

31. Low cholesterol makes congestive heart failure worse.

32. Statin drugs can cause congestive heart failure.

33. Boiling water concentrates the fluoride in it. Yikes!

34. Statin drugs often cause diabetes. And they don't do a doggone thing to prevent heart disease.

35. Magnesium oxide's pretty much a waste of money because your body can't absorb it. Magnesium citrate is a better choice.

36. Coca Cola is made with fluoride. Fluoride is murder on your thyroid gland, to mention one body part of the many affected by fluoride.

37. "Caramel coloring" has nothing to do with caramel, just chemicals. Again, just say "no."

38. Natural Vitamin A can get cancer cells to commit suicide. Beta carotene can't.

39. "Reconstituted juices" are often fluoridated. "Reconstituted" means adding water to concentrate; if the water's fluoridated, as much of the water in the U.S. is, that's why.

40. Nutritional levels in spinach fell 60% from 1941 to 1979. Then, since the news was so bad, they seem to have stopped testing.

God is good,

You love lots of things if you live around them. But there isn't any woman and there isn't any horse, that’s as lovely as a great airplane. If it's a beautiful fighter, your heart will be ever there
