Hi,

My neuro Dr RX'd Maxalt for me for migraines.
I've had limited results with immetrex and
zomig. I've tried a few others, they're just
not worth mentioning. For me, Maxalt is bad
tasting, however, the pain does seem to subside.
Sometimes I had to take a second dosage. Although
it is purported to not make one sleepy, taking one
dose makes me quite drowsy. Having to take a
second dose puts me out for 8 to 12 hours. But I
wake up without experiencing the full effects of
migraines that sometimes lasted 2 to 3 days. I
do like the convenience of not needing water to
take the drug. :) But you do need something to
wash the bad taste out of your mouth!!!!
