Does anyone have information on a cluster-headache-like
condition, but which is not painful ? Symptoms include:
eye inflamation, tearing/discharge, runny nose,
swelling face, all happening on one side only, happens
nearly every night, roughly same time every night (just
when going to bed), for several months now. From what
I've read, these symptoms similar to some cluster
headaches, except that there is no headache!
Seems better when bedroom light left on. Responsive
to antihistamines, successfully (80-90%)prevented with
tricyclic antidepressants (amitriptyline, sinequan).
The allergist says it's not an allergy (otherwise it
would affect both eyes), but some form of neuralgia.
Any info appreciated.
