Hey everyone - newbie on the block! I just came across
this website & don't know whether to cry or jump up &
down for joy to know I am not crazy. I actually just
sent another message but I don't think it worked so if
you see two from me you'll know why. I'm on my parents
computer furiously looking for some kind of answer to
these headaches. After spending the month of July in
the most pain I have ever been in (home in bed & ER's
most of the time - not in prison thank god! see Judy's
note) & not getting any return calls from the doctors
at the headache clinic I'm a patient at, I decided I
would go the "best" in this area only again to be told
that maybe I could get an appt in 9-12 months but I
could sit in the waiting room for about two weeks
to be seen as a walk in. I'm sure my boss would love
that. Needless to say I'm not in a positive place
right now. The headache meds I'm on don't work unless
I take all of them which is causing rebound, but I'm
afraid to go off because it will make them worse. I
gave up drinking, smoking, caffene (sp?) & every bad
food and am still in constant pain. It doesn't seem
worth it. I feel like I'm in my own self absorbed world
talking about this..."Pity, party of one your table is
ready - oh, I see you're already here." I wish I had
something more poignant to say also but I'm too
frustrated to be creative. Thanks to all of you for
listening & if I took up to much space I apologize.
Any advice or reassurance are welcome. I'm going to
check the website a little more - pain free wishes to
everyone! lisa
