On October 1st, Rick B. said that he heard that
imitrex was worse that stadol....
I was asking, "How is it worse?"

My husbands doctor told us that it is not addictive,
I am not sure how it could be.. You almost can't
afford to buy it.

Last fall when the neuro started Doug(my husband)on
the injectors he said that, Doug COULD NOT use more than
two in one day, Doug called the doc back and asked
what was he supposed to do if the CH was bad and he had
already used his two a day ? The doc said that he could
use more if he really needed it but, to be very careful
and do not take more than one shot within a hours time.
So far we have not had any problems with him exceeding
the standard amount.

Our insurance will only let me have 4 shots per refill
and only one refill a week and as you know that is not enough.
Here is a little trick I learned to get around
that... I will have the neuro write the script for
extra shots and refill it even when Doug is not in his
cycle. I know that doing it this way can be and is very
expensive but.. I would reather spend the money and
know that that the medicine is there if it is needed.

Sorry if I posted the question incorrectly. Chris
