I only do meds during the cycle, then quit them as quick as I can when I think it's done. Each year I try lithium, sansert, verapamil, prednisone in that order of preference. Lithium is extra cheap and no side effects at all. Sansert is high-dollar and makes my kidneys ache a bit. Verapamil is medium-priced, but takes a couple weeks to take effect. Prednisone is the DRUG FROM HELL but sure does stop the aches.
