I experience a horrible pressure-like pain behind my left eye. I have had it off and on for 5 days. It often times keeps me up at night and I barely slept last night because I was in so much pain. I have determined that if I have a momentary lapse of pain, blowing my nose causes it to come back. I can hear a crackling sound in my head, and sometimes a whistle of air. Is it sinus or cluster? I had the same thing 4 years ago and the neurologist said it was cluster, but I didn't discover the nose-blowing as a catalyst then. It sucks.
