Has anyone tried Amitriptylline (Elavil) for prophylactic treatment of cluster headaches? I am desperately searching for some help for my husband. He takes Excedrin regularly and Ergomar. He suffers two headaches daily. He's a video producer, and spends long hours in front of monitors. He smokes, drinks too much coffee, and has a very stressful job, with lots of deadlines and very little sleep. HELP!!
