Lithium and a decongestant....

Im getting sinus prussure and i know im not suposed to use a decongestant since im on lithium.
Does anyone know why? And if i do use one what will happen?
Pharmist told me to use saline naisle spay. It helps me breath easer but is not doing anything for the pressure.
One type of headache is enough !!!
