I absolutely, positively and truly understand and know your frustration. Believe me; I've heard the same bullshit. I'm a realistic, cynic by nature. I believe that if I didn't have chronic Cluster Headaches myself, that I would probably tell someone who had Cluster Headaches to go lay down and take two aspirin.
That may sound terrible and very unsympathetic on my part, but by the very nature of this "condition" and the name that some moron decided to give it. Headache. That is the reality. People will always see CH as a headache.
I have decided to NOT bother explaining my Cluster Headaches to anyone anymore. Fuck them. There is no need for them to know or to understand. The only person who needs to understand that I have Cluster Headaches is my Neurologist, my wife, my kids and my boss. Again; fuck everybody else.
That's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
