I read this 15 years ago in a book and it works for me.
When I feel a "tinge" I ride my excersize bike for 5 minutes. This put Oxygen in my bloodstream and completey aborts the headache. I have to get my pulse to 120 / minute. Another words, I have to ride fast enough to breath fairly heavy, not too heavy. I use a ear moniter to reach the correct activity level. I have used this technique for 15 years and it always works. If im outside and i feel the "tinge" I walk very briskly for 5 minutes and that works too. I hope this info helps someone.
