Being Sick

Just a quick question from a fellow sufferer from down under her in Australia.

I have been suffering from periodic CH for about 15 years (from 19 years of age). They usually hit about this time of year and last for 8-10 weeks (hopefully over by Xmas). I have been lucky for a couple of years a few years ago and missed them altogether. I usuually get one or two attacks, about 2.00 am, every 2-3 days.

last night I got one at about 8.00 pm, while at a meeting. Unfortunately no access to O2 (the treatment I usually use pretty successfully) and after 10 minutes of intense pain I had to ask a friend to drive me home. Halfway home he had to stop the car so I could get out and throw up, (I am sure he was real impressed, he told me he thought I was going to die). The pain then left almost immedietly. I had noticed the same effect a number of years ago before I got the O2.

My Question is, has anyone else noticed this effect and can anyone explain it ?
