When I was first being tested as to what my problem might be, one doctor misdiagnosed it as
Trimengenial Neurologia (I get to spell bad at this hour too...been along time since I last slept)...anyway, they suggested they cut the nerves on the right side of my face. I don't remember right now either the names of these nerves. But, they did say I would lose ALL feeling there forever! Plus, it was the wrong disorder! And, from experiencing these things, I doubt much if cutting nerves would even do anything. The pain seems to be deep inside at times, not just the outer skin. In fact, I wish it was. Then again too...sometimes ice for some and heat for others helps. And, that option would be gone. No, not for me, I want to enjoy the pain free times and feel the hugs of those who stood by. : )
