my own personal experiences with verapamil have been devastating, if the causes of CH's are angina related verapamil may be effective, but this drug also has some nasty side effects including heart failure so I wouldn't go on how effective it works on other people, 480 mg is near the top dosage, please contact your doctor, verapamil is not a cure-all for all CH victims, each of us is different. My two cents worth.
