When I am at an 8, don't even think of talking to me unless you want to be called seven different languages off (I only really know one.)
My advice to you is: if your mother, brother, Elvis or ANYONE calls you while you are in that much pain, you hang up on them, unplug the phone - and then later tell them you've been "having problems with the phone line" and "sorry, the phone just went dead when you called."
I couldn't talk on the phone when I am in pain. I am not rational. And don't EVEN be a solicitor calling me while I am at a ten plus, because I will tell you to 'have sex and travel' in a not very nice way.

P.S. - A bill collector called once while I was at a level 8. The guy was being a real jerk. I just told him to "never call me again or I will make it my personal mission in life to find you, come to you, and take a telephone and shove it so far up your a$& that you'll have ringing in your ears!"
I really did say that. They never called back again.
