Magnesium helps to keep my pain down to 5-7's too. I have found a suppliment called Migraplex that combines the magnesium with feverfew and Vit-B.
I understand the friction that CH's can cause in a relationship. My boyfriend, although very supportive and helpful, tends to get frustrated when I feel one coming on and want to go home. At least they do their best to help ;)
